Our client, located in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Middleware Support Engineer for an immediate contract position. Details include:

- Middleware Infrastructure Engineer focused on IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) and Websphere Process Server (WPS) infrastructure environments.
- This includes expert level 3 support, maintenance, performance, and project deliverable work. This person will be an important part of the SOA Application Integration team to work on key project assignments as well as perform infrastructure maintenance, automation scripting, and resilienecy work in the BPM and WPS environments. The role will be subject to additional engineering duties in our Oracle WebLogic/ODSI, Websphere Enterprise Service Bus (WESB), and Websphere Application Server environments as our SOA Refresh project continues into 2015.
Responsibilities:
-Provide Engineering expertise and capabilities, along with expert level 2 and level 3 support for the BPM, BAM, and WPS environments. -Partner with application support and development teams that utilize BPM and SOA environments
- Deliver middleware solutions for product currency and business portfolio projects
- Design, document, maintain product installation and support procedures
- Partner with the PVS testing team, work through PVS tests and resolve infrastructure issues
- Engage in capacity planning discussions, forecasts, solutions
- Work closely with application development technicians to design solutions and resolve issues
- Maintain and update build and maintenance standards and documentation
- Develop/Deliver automation and resiliency solutions in the BPM/BAM/WPS environments ensuring optimum performance, availability, security, integrity, and capacity
Skills:

Years of infrastructure engineering experience with building, supporting, and maintaining IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) and/or Websphere Process Server (WPS) infrastructure environments, which includes BPM and/or WPS product expertise, product version and maintenance installation and configuration.

Years of experience administering, implementing, and supporting other middleware infrastructure products and web application servers on Linux and/or Unix platforms which include one or more of the following products:
- IBM Business Activity Monitor (BAM)
- Oracle ODSI
- Oracle WebLogic
- Websphere Enterprise Service Bus (WESB)
- Websphere Application Server (WAS)
- Websphere Extreme Scale (WXS)
- JBoss Fuse
- JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- Layer 7 Gateway
-Strong hands on experience administering and configuring middleware products
-Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
-Experience wiht application integration and SOA technologies
-Experience with large and complex end to end transaction processing shared services solutions
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
-Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
-Demonstrated teamwork behaviors
-Education: Bachelors degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Information systems, or similar degree

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
