Strategic Sourcing Senior Specialist

To be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the sourcing approach and procurement process for the organization. Oversee execution and implementation of small to medium sized sourcing initiatives. Collaborate with business staff and oversee development of requests for proposals and other selection and supplier evaluation tools. Prepare negotiations and facilitate negotiation strategy in conjunction with business staff and supply chain management leadership. Assess and resolve supplier related issues, support supplier related management reporting and contract audits, and conduct performance reviews with select suppliers.
Position requires a master's degree (or equivalent) in human resources or a related field and two years of sourcing or supply chain experience or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources or a related field and five years of sourcing or supply chain experience. Experience must include IBM Emptoris, SAP CLM, Microsoft Visio and value stream mapping.
