The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for the general support of project management activities within the Segment Program Delivery Organization.
Job Location: Bloomfield, CT
Responsibilities:
Assist the Enterprise Program Manager (EPM) with project plans, project budgets, status report coordination and other project management related tasks.
Meet with Project Managers, ASG leads, development leads, QA leads, etc. to compile status and follow-up on assigned actions items.
Develop presentation materials as needed
Provide updates to Clarity as required, including work items and release status.
Managing and tracking project accounting and budgeting and forecasting working with Project Managers and financial controllers
College degree (2 or 4 year) or equivalent work experience
1 - 3 years' experience in Information Technology or knowledge of technical project delivery
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a matrixed organization
Results oriented and self-motivated
Previous experience with process management
Experience and high proficiency with MS Office and MS Project (beginner to intermediate)
Knowledge of PMP or PMBOK methodology
Experience with basic accounting principles and financial analysis
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
PMP, CAPM certification
Healthcare or Insurance Industry Experience
