Application Development Senior Specialists (Bloomfield, CT), Cigna HLIC
Analyzes, designs and develops tests, and deploys Cognos software solutions and Cognos reporting frameworks to address business needs for Client Reporting application delivery. Participates in full development life cycle. Creates complex Framework Manager models, and designs, develops and maintains Cognos Business Intelligence Reports. Works closely with the delivery leads and business subject matter experts to gain the knowledge required to develop programs and solutions in support of Client Report Deliverables. Designs and develops various types of Cognos reports and cubes, including Olap cube development, that help the business to analyze and make key decisions. Develops and implements new reports and cubes into a production environment and provides production support.
Requires B.S. in Computer Science or related field plus 6 years application program development experience (or M.S. in Computer Science or related field plus 3 years experience) utilizing Cognos Framework Manager, Cognos BI Tools, Olap Cube development, and SQL Server. Hiring requirements: drug screen/background test.
