Infrastructure Engineer with Database Replication toolsHybrid - 2 days a week onsite in Bloomfield CT, St Louis MO, Bloomington MN, Plano TX, Morris Plains NJ.
Job Responsibilities Working experience with QLIK, Golden Gate or IIDR.
Install replication products and drivers on Windows and linux systems Apply the patches to replication tools for life cycle management Must be a team player Must be an Enthusiastic candidate who work in a challenging environment Must adapt to a change ,learning new technologies Must be very good at documentation and presetation skills Automation using Python and terraform is a plus AWS certification is a plus working experience with AWS services like RDS , Aurora , S3 etc Good Problem solving skills and analytical skills Must be able to deliver the results with minimal supervision Assist project teams, database teams and development teams in the setting up of new replication requests Provide operational support for replication technologies Provide assistance and training to database teams regarding replication technologies Work with vendors to troubleshoot replication issues as needed Test new releases and patches provided by vendors Support migrations from legacy replication technologies to new technologies Confer with application owners, users, and other engineers to collect requirements for replication enhancements Provide oncall support Job Skills and QualificationsRequired:
overall 5 years of IT experience 1-3 years' experience supporting database or replication technologies especially QLIK replicate Linux Shell scripting and Windows Power Shell scripting Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or other database technologies Previous experience administering databases in an enterprise environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong Organizational Skills.
