Sr. Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programmer - Now Hiring

In this role, you would be responsible for the development, trial, and troubleshooting of all CNC related programs required to accomplish engine part repairs.
Typical CNC operations at our site are grinding, milling and turning.

Responsibilities:
o Drive industrialization of new CNC capital equipment investments, developing standard processes and becoming a subject matter expert of the equipment.
o Create new and modified CNC programs for turning, grinding, and milling.
o Display the ability to understand machine functionality within the business and solve program problems efficiently and quickly.
o Provide on-site support troubleshooting CNC programs with operators and the engineering team.
o Create new programs upon request and work with the operator through tryout and certification.
o Evaluate tool, insert, fixture, machine, and technique selection to drive a process to success.
Take ownership of process until certification.
o Recommendations, business case analysis and execution of new manufacturing technologies to drive continuous improvement.
o Experience with robotic programming for plasma spray, waterjet, and CMM programming is a plus, but not required.
Basic
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree and 5
years of Engineering experience supporting manufacturing operation and/or developing machining programs; OR Advanced Degree and 3
years of relevant experience.

citizenship is required for this position; only U.

citizens are authorized to access and handle sensitive data required to support our government and military programs.
Preferred Qualifications :
o Degree in STEM field; Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering fields preferred.
o Experience developing and verifying CNC programs using a CAM environment, setting up CNC equipment, modifying programs at the controls using G and M codes, and proving-out programs to produce a quality-compliant first piece.
o Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings, blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
o Experience working with MS Office, SAP ERP, Unigraphics NX and Vericut preferred.
o Manufacturing Engineering experience within Aerospace or Aftermarket (MRO) industry o Organizational and project management skills, PMP certification preferred.
o LEAN, Continuous Improvement, and/or CORE, ACE, Six-Sigma training and experience.
o Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management.
o Must be a team player and have a strong ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop, troubleshoot and implementation of new and existing programs.
o Strong business acumen, with ability to prioritize tasks in a demanding environment and make sound business decisions.
Skills/
Experience:
