Bench Inspector 1st and 2nd Shift Summary Description:
To be considered, you must have previous experience in the use of inspection tools such as micrometers, digital snap gages, dial bores, indicators, layout inspection techniques with good math skills etc.
Knowledge of geometric tolerance is helpful.
You must be capable of performing your own set-up and must be familiar with and able to read and understand relevant technical data.
Have the ability to evaluate visual items using the applicable and appropriate technical data.
Interpreting CMM reports is very important.
Essential Functions of the Position:
Review final work packages Initiate 8130's and CAAC Tags Initiate ROMS (Record of Measurements) Run small CMM Receiving Inspector's (Back-up) Perform clerical functions that will support final inspection Previous knowledge of FAR Part 145 is important and experience using PW and GE engine manual highly desired.
Perform related duties as assigned.
