SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SPECIALIST
Summary:
Shipping and Receiving duties and to handle tasks such as receiving inspections of aircraft components and parts, opening work orders, processing required documentation.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Follow all company procedures and policies and take instruction.
Heavy use of computer/internet to access customer portals and systems.
Ability to ship items accurately and consistently while meeting daily shipping deadlines, maintaining organization of shipping area and inventory management and control.
Must be familiar with UPS, FedEx and other major carrier's documentation and processes.
Ability to loading and unloading of large wooden shipping crates and metal parts, must be able to lift 50 pounds, maintain a clean and organized work area and a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Issue work orders and documents for production and repair units as per company procedures.
Maintain and file documents and records up to date.
Highly self-motivated, dependable with ability to work unsupervised.
Qualifications:
Aviation Shipping and Receiving related experience required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, basic Aviation procedures and knowledge, organization skills, professionalism, problem solving, supply management, inventory control, verbal communication, highly self-motivated, dependable with ability to work unsupervised.
Pentagon 2000 experience a plus.
