Investigations, New Hire Check Ins.
Counsels' employees.
Reach out to employees when they are getting several disciplinary actions to head off problems and to aid towards retention.
Interviews.
Identify recruitment needs.
Collects, and analyzes employee data to identify trends.
Organizes and updates EE files.
Oversees employee orientation and training.
Offer letters.
Worker's Comp.
FMLA, LOAs, etc.
Employee Relations.
Investigations.
DOL/ unemployment hearings.
Employee Retention/Engagement.
Benefits-employee questions, etc.
Other Duties:
Maintains communication with department heads regarding staffing needs.
Conducts annual wage and benefit survey.
Maintains sources of labor supply; coordinates outside recruiting efforts through local institutions i.
e.
, technical schools, business schools, and colleges; prepares employment ads for the newspaper; conducts all pre-employment interviews; and makes selection of staff.
Prepares compliance records, statistics, special reports, and turnover analysis if necessary.
Monitors transfers, promotions, layoffs, and dismissals that occur within the facility.
Conducts exit interviews for voluntary and terminated employees.
Represents the facility at Unemployment Compensation hearings.
Indoctrinates all new employees.
Knowledge of State of Connecticut's Unemployment Compensation Insurance, O.
S.
H.

, the Americans with Disabilities Act and any other State or Federal Guidelines pertaining to Human Resources i.
