This is a contract to hire position with our key aerospace client.
In this role you will support various Health & Safety related projects.
To be considered you will have a High school degree, and US Citizenship; Prior safety experience is desired.
Health & Safety Coordinator
Responsibilities:
1.
Update Chemical Inventories for the buildings 2.
Conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) including PPE assessments and Ventilation surveys 3.
Support 3rd party industrial hygiene sampling and conduct sampling 4.
Review and update lockout tagout procedures 5.
Complete weekly and monthly tasks for the EHS department including EHS tips, Toolbox talks, Postings around the facility, Continuous improvement 6S 6.
Other safety related tasks as needed.
Health & Safety Coordinator Requirements:
1.
US Citizenship 2.
High school degree 3.
Prior safety experience desired 4.
Strong computer skills (ability to use Microsoft Office suite) 5.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 6.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills 7.
Problem solving skills including route cause analysis 8.
Physical requirements:
lift up to 30 lbs, walk for distances including use of stairs, wear steel-toe shoes, safety glasses and other personal protective equipment as required.
Work with and around machinery, chemicals, heat, cold, and work at heights.
9.
