CGI is seeking a hands-on fullstack engineer with the skillset of C#,, Python, .NET Core, Entity framework Core, ASP.NET MVC, Angular 7/8, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, AJAX, , Experience in Rest Services using .NET Core API, ASP.NET Web API along with modern software engineering practices (Continuous Integration, Specification by Example, Behavior / Test Driven Development - BDD, TDD) and respective tools, to become a part of a dynamic team located in Bloomfield, CT or Lafayette LA! Responsibilities:
Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios Continuously improve software engineering practices Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies Write unit tests and automated acceptance tests. FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES o ASP.NET developer with strong front-end and API development experience. You must be comfortable enhancing and extending the application as needed. o Actively contribute to software development strategy and product roadmap specific to application development o Drive solution design thought leadership, for a customer -centric perspective o Ability to understand and translate business requirements into meaningful end to end solutions o Lead team in collaborative development of prototypes for demonstration of concepts o Understand functional specifications and use case designs. o Application Development Responsibilities to support and develop back end apis . o Determines user requirement feasibility, supports solution design, project planning, establishes priorities and monitors progress o Implements technical changes to improve the team's effectiveness o Plan out system enhancement implementation roadmap o Resolve conflicting priority among projects and ad-hoc requests o Coordinates with team resources to integrate project with other applications and releases and ensure appropriate skillset alignment and staffing o Participate in and growing strategic partner relationships to support growing demands on the delivery organization o Guide development resources through migration to Agile development methodologies REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE Desired Skills & Experience Programming Must Have o C# o .Net MVC o LINQ o Entity Framework o SQL Server o JavaScript o JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc) o Agile methodology o Web and API Development o AJAX Nice To Have o .Net Core o Docker/Containerization o CI/CD and related tools (DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, etc) Expectations Quick learner Driver and not a follower Willingness to learn & take up challenges Problem Solving skills - Provide solutions and ability to justify Hands-On with Programming languages Education Requirements:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
